Fuel Levy
Date: 30 March 2026
Subject: Notice of Fuel Levy Increase
Dear Valued Clients,
We appreciate the strain fuel prices have applied on your commercial activities and that all of us are currently navigating this tumultuous time the best we can.
Diesel Terminal Gate Prices have reached record highs with a national average of 310.6 cents last Friday. This unfortunately had a significant impact on the fuel levy.
On the back of yesterday’s Government announcement regarding the fuel excise and the heavy vehicle road user charge adjustment starting from the 1st of April, we’ve decided to revert back our fuel levy for this week to last week’s value.
The fuel levy for the week commencing Monday 30th March will revert back to 69% instead of 81% for fuel exclusive rates (Interstate Deliveries only)
The fuel levy for Metro stays same at 35%.
We trust this gives you some extra time to manage these price fluctuations both internally and with your supply chain partners. We value our relationship and as your 3PL provider, our sustainability goes hand in hand with yours.
We are hopeful and expect further reductions in the short term, for the next three months in line with the recently announced cost relief measures. We don’t know what the medium to long-term has for us but we hope the world will be in better shape soon.
Thank you.
